I’m curious about the best type of gas to use for my car. What are your thoughts

I will adjust to this information. I will also make sure it’s a top tier GS

No, 87 is fine. You are wasting money using 89 on this car.
@Mark
Thank you for the advice
Where can you find gas under $2 a gallon? That’s the real question

Probably $/L in Canada

Nah, it says per gallon on the button
It’s not a performance engine. Use 87 and try to find a Top Tier gas station
I’m in Colorado and I use 91. We have that 85 stuff because of the altitude. I almost always go to Costco, and if I’m on the highway, I stop at Loves

Why do you use 91? You gain no benefit and just pay a lot more
Whichever is cheaper between 87 and 89
I use 87 but I choose Costco or a top tier gas station. If you use non top tier, make sure to add Chevron with Techron fuel cleaner every 7500 miles

Wow, I didn’t know this. After reading your comment I searched online and found that non top tier gas yields a lot more engine residue and decreases fuel economy. They found out that switching to top tier gas costs only 3c more per gallon on average. I guess I’ll stop fueling so often at Sam’s
@LyamGenesis
If you use non top tier often, consider hitting your tank with Chevron Techron every 3-5k miles. I use top tier and use it every 5k miles
I’ve been using 87 for a year now in my 24. Everything is good
- There’s some confusion because one Kia document says premium, but the majority say regular. I’ve been using regular without issues. The main thing is to use top tier like Costco or Sunoco

Or Chevron, Exxon, Shell, Valero, or QuikTrip
Consistency is key
