I installed Yakima TimberLine CoreBars and TimberLine Towers today on our 2024 EX X-Line today. I looked at some other styles, but I found this entire set brand new on Facebook Marketplace for $100, which was a great deal.
The set was missing one of the end caps and the hex driver, but Yakima sent them to me within a couple of days.
We’ll likely get a Yakima cargo basket or Yakima cargo box for it in the future.
How did the installation go? I’ll be deciding on a roof rack soon.
There was a minor issue with attaching one of the bar mounts to a tower, but it wasn’t a big deal. The instructions were fine, but I found this video of a professional installing on a similar 2024 Telluride with raised roof rails very helpful.
The sunroof just clears the front bar, so I chose to install it right at the end of where it fully opens. The rear bar is positioned at the end of the rails and can be easily adjusted for future installations.
