Who manufactures kia cars?

Hey folks,

I’m curious about Kia cars and want to know more about the company behind them. Who actually manufactures Kia vehicles? Is it a standalone company or part of a larger group?

I think I answered this for someone before, but here it goes… Kia cars are made by Kia Motors, which is part of a bigger group called Hyundai Motor Group. So, while Kia is its own brand, it’s got Hyundai backing it up.
