Hi, I’m having trouble finding the transmission relay on my 2005 Kia Amanti. I’ve been looking for it, but no luck. Can anyone help with where it’s located or share a diagram?
Pretty sure it’s in the main fuse box under the hood. Check near the battery on the driver’s side.

I’ll check there again. Thanks!
The ATM relay (automatic transmission relay) should be in the fuse box under the hood. If it’s not labeled clearly, you might need to pull out the owner’s manual.

I don’t have the manual, unfortunately. Do you happen to know which relay it is?
@Flippa
If I remember right, it’s one of the relays near the center of the fuse box. Might be worth getting a manual online for future reference.
Sometimes these relays are behind the glove box too. Check under the dashboard just in case.

Didn’t think to check there. I’ll take a look. Thanks!
If you’re still not finding it, you might want to get a repair manual. It’s got diagrams and makes stuff like this easier.

Sounds like a good idea. I’ll look into that.
You can find diagrams online if you search for a service manual. It’s usually in the fuse box, but double-check the markings on the cover.

Thanks, I’ll do a bit more digging online for diagrams.
