We just got a Hybrid Carnival yesterday, mainly for my wife to drive the kids around. I want to get her something nice for Christmas, something she’ll actually use in the car. Are there any must-have accessories? Or is the Carnival already perfect without extras?
A portable jump starter would be my first suggestion. Every car should have one these days, especially newer ones with all the electronics. You won’t have to rely on someone else’s car to jump-start yours if the battery dies.
@KiaRevolution
I can confirm, portable jump starters are super handy. I’ve jump-started my car in under a minute. It’s also great peace of mind when you’re on your own and need a quick fix.
@KiaRevolution
Why not just use jumper cables with another car? Isn’t that cheaper?

It’s not that you can’t use cables, but some people worry that jumping from another car could mess with the electronics. A portable jump starter is just easier and quicker in most cases. Less waiting around too.
You should check out dashcams. I recommend the FitcamX. It’s a great option because it blends in with the car’s look. Just make sure your rear-view mirror has the right plugs before you order one. If you need links to other accessories, there’s a useful post I found: [link]
@Mickey
Can I hook the dashcam up to the overhead console? I have the SX model too.

You don’t need to touch the fuse box. The FitcamX kit comes with a Y splitter that plugs in under the rear-view mirror cover. It’s really easy to set up, trust me.
@Mickey
I saw a video about this, but I thought the splitter only worked with auto-dimming mirrors? My SX doesn’t have that. Do you have the 2025 version?

Sent you a DM with the exact details. Let me know if it helps .
All-weather mats are a must-have. I got mine as a gift for Mother’s Day, and they’ve been amazing for keeping the car clean. If you have kids, you’ll love them even more.

Where did you get yours? I’m looking for all-weather mats for the SXP Hybrid 8-seater.
@Della
I haven’t seen mats made specifically for the Hybrid yet. The floor layout is slightly different, so most brands don’t have a perfect fit right now.

So even the dealership doesn’t have mats that work? That’s surprising.
@Della
From what I’ve seen on Facebook, the dealership mats only fit the regular version, not the Hybrid. The floor hooks are in a different place.
@Della
I had the same problem. I got a Hybrid SXP 8-seater, and my dealer gave me mats for the ICE version as a temporary fix. Here’s a link to my post about the weird hook placements: [link]

We went with Tux Mats for our 2025 SXP. They’re great: [link]
@JenifaLopes
Are those made for the Hybrid? I’m only seeing options for the 7-seater version.

No, ours isn’t a Hybrid. They probably won’t fit yours perfectly.

You might want to check out WeatherTech. They have mats, but so far, they’ve only released ones for the front row.
