Seatbelt chime going off when turning right?

Hallo…

I’ve got a 2016 Kia Soul, and I’m having this strange issue. Whenever I turn right while driving (but it doesn’t happen when I’m parked), the seatbelt chime starts going off. The seatbelt light on the dash doesn’t come on, and it only goes off when I turn a certain amount to the right. The chime just keeps ringing until I straighten out the steering wheel.
I checked the seatbelt buckle, and it seems fine. Do you think this could be a circuit problem or something? Has anyone else dealt with this? I’d really appreciate any thoughts or advice.

The purpose of seatbelt :weary:chimes is to keep you safe in the event of a collision. It’s critical that any problems are resolved right away.

The device that determines :grimacing: whether your seatbelt is fastened may be malfunctioning. This may set off the chime even when the belt is securely tightened.

It’s possible that :disappointed: the chime or the cabling leading to the seatbelt sensor is broken or loose. Inaccurate or intermittent signals may result from this.

Certain cars have :anguished:special safety features or more sensitive seatbelt sensors, which could trigger the chime in specific circumstances.

.It’s recommended to have  a mechanic go over your car if you’ve tried the solutions listed above and the issue still exists. They are able to identify the problem and carry out the required fixes.
