Questions about Reselling a 2010 Kia Soul

Hallo…

My girlfriend’s 2010 Kia Soul recently broke down, and we’re almost certain it’s a transmission issue. The car won’t go above 20mph, and the RPMs are much higher than they should be. She’s looking to sell it to a vehicle reselling company because she wants to get rid of it quickly and without much hassle. :confused:
The issue is, the place she went to only offered $150, which feels really low. Does anyone here have experience with this kind of situation? How much do you think the car could be worth, even if it’s just for parts? Other than the transmission, it’s in fairly decent condition.
