hey everyone, we’ve got a 2023 kia sorento with the official kia cargo rack on top, but we don’t have a key for it. went to the dealership, and they told me to go to a locksmith. tried that, but the locksmith said to order one online. anyone else run into this problem? any ideas on getting a key for it?

yeah, i may try another dealership if i get a chance. only one nearby, though.
kia’s customer service should be able to help if the dealership isn’t. they can sometimes direct you to someone who can get the right key.

had this issue with my roof rack too. i ended up finding a universal key that worked—got it off amazon. might be worth a shot.
try asking a different locksmith if you can. some of them have specialty keys that others don’t carry.
