I was thinking of adding another mount on the other side for a toolbox or first aid kit. The tires are Geolander A/T 205/80R16 104T on 16x7.5 rims with an ET of 12. Ordered the tires from the UK. Had to heavily modify the wheel wells and fenders to fit them.
You must be a big fan of camping.

Yeah, had to do some serious mods to the wheel wells and fenders. Spent a lot of time cutting and welding to get it right. Still need to add a lift kit, but no scraping now.

The biggest kits I can find for this generation (mine’s a 2020) are about 1.2 inches. For older models, you can go up to 3 inches. Thinking about designing my own to get 2 or 3 inches, but want to make sure it’s safe first.

Got a link? I’ve been thinking about lifting mine too but couldn’t find anything. I’ve already taken my toaster to places most wouldn’t dare.

Found your other ‘Rally Car’ post—very cool. I’m looking for a smoother ride and a bit more height for off-roading.
