I received a message from my dealer this morning about a recall for the battery. Here’s the link they provided: battery recall info. They asked me to bring in my car and leave it for three days. They’ll give me a loaner and a gift card. We had our battery replaced under warranty some time ago, but it seems this recall still applies.

What kind of problems are you having? Ours lost a lot of range, and we took it in and it qualified for a replacement under warranty. Here’s the recall info I found: Recall info

I lost range, and the yellow turtle light kept coming on along with the battery light. The miles on the battery started dropping 30 miles within a few feet, and it wasn’t connecting when I tried to charge.

I took it in, and they submitted an order for the recall, so I’m waiting to hear back.

On Kia’s website, it doesn’t show a recall on the battery, just two other recalls.

I think it’s a 2017, but I have a cat on my lap and can’t get up to check.
I called the dealership just to make sure it wasn’t a scam, and the woman said they were looking for 20 people, so I’m not sure what that means.
