Yep, same thing happened to mine. I went to the dealer, and they just made sure I hadn’t done anything to it and covered it under warranty.

It took a week for them to find a replacement, but I actually kind of liked it without it after a while.

The dealer should replace it for free - it’s under recall.

This is really common with the 2024s. Both my 2024 GT and the K5 loaner I had while mine was being fixed had this problem.

One of the parts has been on backorder though, which is super annoying.

If it helps, we used 3M double-sided tape a few months back, and it’s holding up while we wait for the real fix.

Not perfect, but at least it keeps it from flying off on the highway.

That’s actually a great tip! Sadly, I have no idea where my chrome piece went… Just noticed yesterday it was gone.
