Is Kia still vulnerable to theft?

Someone in the comments section of a YouTube video claimed that modern Kias are still highly susceptible to theft and aren’t reliable.

They said, “Kia and Hyundai are among the worst vehicles for consumers on the lower end of their price range. Car theft remains a significant issue, and their older models weren’t well-built. I’ve seen many in my shop, and I wouldn’t recommend owning one. Wrist pins frequently snap, leaving you without an engine.”

What are your thoughts?

I was under the impression that the theft problem mainly affected older Kias without a push-start button system.
