Is it worth buying a used KIA K5?

I came across a few K5’s that caught my attention. I’m wondering if it’s a good idea to consider one as my first car. What should I be concerned about regarding reliability?

I follow a few car forums. It’s rare to see comments that don’t think a car is overpriced no matter the price. This looks like a fair deal, especially in a large city. Take it for a test drive. Have a mechanic check it out if you can. If you like it, go for it.

@DeeMario
Got it

I absolutely love my car. It has low miles for a 2022. Take it for a test drive. Seems like a good deal to me.

Do you have any tips on maintenance or any concerns I should know about?

@Mark
Just don’t hit a deer like I did.

I’ll try to avoid that

@EmmanuelBrown
Got it, thanks

This looks like a great deal. I love my K5 and would jump on it every day.

A new one doesn’t cost much more than that.

Yes, it does, lol. A brand new one is 27k.

Are you serious? A brand new 2022 K5 isn’t anywhere near 18.5k?

Check this out. A 2023 model is even better: Autotrader - page unavailable

@Brown
I guess 4.5k more isn’t that far off. I didn’t expect it to be that cheap.

For a full 10-year, 100K warranty and 40K fewer miles, $4.5K more is a great deal.

You’re right, it’s a really good deal. It’s not a huge price difference, but I did not expect to see such a good deal for a brand new K5.

What?

My first car was a 2025 GT. They all have the same engine for the most part, even with the design update.

I’d suggest looking for the best deal. That price seems high to me for a 2022 with 40k miles.
