Just got a 2025 SX-P Xline for 56k out the door. This included taxes and dealer fees with a military and Kia loyalty discount. Personally, I’d pick a 2025 since the 2024 will be worth less right after you drive it off the lot.
I work with Telluride deals a lot, and that’s a fair deal for Florida, where dealer fees are high. You could have a $1,500 dealer fee on top of everything, which makes any discounts less helpful. Sales tax in FL is 6%, but counties add a bit too. DMV fees can be about $350 if you need a new plate or just a few bucks to transfer one. I sometimes ship cars to FL clients from out of state to skip these high fees. Like others have said, if you’re happy with it, go for it, but this price seems more fitting for a 2025 model.
I got a 2024 SX Prestige X-line AWD for $56.5k, but that included a 10-year, 100k mile warranty. With so much tech in cars these days, I figured the warranty was worth it.
Nope, not worth it.
I’d ask for a 20% discount off the sticker price to start. I had a lease with Kia, got $2,500 off the sticker, and another $2,000 in trade equity, which helped my monthly payment go down to around $790.
