I recently got a 2024 X-Line, and while I was deciding between that and the Atlas, I was okay with the slightly worse gas mileage. I drive pretty efficiently, so I thought I’d get at least 19 MPG as advertised. But after being mindful of my driving habits, like coasting to lights and accelerating slowly, I’m only getting around 14 MPG. Has anyone else had this experience?
I get a consistent 22 combined (highway/city) using smart mode, and on the highway, I get 26-28. I’ve had 2 Tellurides, and both had similar results (SX & EX).

I also get those numbers with my 24 S AWD.

Same here with my '24 SX X-Line.
EX X-Line AWD here. I average 20-22 MPG with smart mode.
Yes, I’m always around 14 in my SX-P.
We drive on comfort mode, getting 17/22. Maybe you’re driving with the differential locked or in a mode that uses more power?
Where do you live? If it’s a colder area, they might be using winter blend fuel, which lowers mileage. I’m getting 19-21 MPG after the blend change.

Yes, it’s a cold climate here.

I’ve noticed a 2-4 MPG drop when the winter blend kicks in.
Smart mode seems to be the key.
I even got more than 14 MPG when towing a 4500 lb boat. Something must be wrong with your Telluride.
After 40,000 miles, our combined MPG is 23.074 in a 2022 S FWD.
On the highway with Eco mode, I get around 26-28 MPG.
Missing some details here. How many miles did you average over? I usually get 22-23 MPG unless I do a lot of idling or short city trips.

Not many yet, just under 1,000 miles.
@Adam
You should give it more time. The numbers should improve with more miles.
I have a 2024 SX-X Line in Eco Mode and average 18-19 MPG combined, but that’s mostly city driving. What’s the difference between Eco and Smart? Should I switch to Smart for better MPG?

Smart mode switches between Eco and Sport based on how you drive. It’s the best mode for everyday use.
@quinnlebron
Smart mode switches between the three styles based on driving.
