hi everyone, i’ve got a 2012 kia and need to replace both front wheel bearings. has anyone done this? i’m looking for a step-by-step guide or any tips you might have on the process. i think it’s a press-in bearing, so do i need to remove the knuckle first?
yup, you’ll need to remove the knuckle to press out the old bearing and press in the new one. might need a hydraulic press if you don’t already have one.

thanks, good to know! i’ll see if i can get access to a press.
if you haven’t done this before, it can be a bit tricky. make sure to mark everything so it lines up when you reassemble.
watch out for the snap rings—they can be stubborn to remove. a set of snap ring pliers will help a lot.

appreciate the tip! i’ll make sure i have the right tools.
double-check the torque specs for when you reinstall everything. it’s important to keep it all tight to avoid any issues down the road.
hope it goes smoothly. getting those bearings pressed in can be a challenge, but it’s doable. good luck!
