How to Remote start Kia Seltos 2023

Have you have any problems with the Kia Seltos remote start? Although the automobile emits a whistling sound every time I press the start button on the remote, it does not always start.

Your 2023 Kia Seltos should have a remote start function built into the key fob.
To use it, ensure the car is off and you’re within about 33 feet of it. First, press the lock button on the fob. Then, within 4 seconds, press the button with the “hold” symbol for a few seconds until you see the lights flash. That means your engine is on and will stay running for up to 10 minutes for a warm (or cool) welcome. You can also press and hold the “hold” button again to turn it off early. Be sure to consult your owner’s manual for any additional details or limitations.

A few things could be causing this: low battery, faulty remote, or maybe even a temperamental car computer.

Try replacing the remote battery first. If that doesn’t work, it might be time for a visit to your friendly Kia dealer.

They can run some diagnostics and get to the bottom of that mysterious whistle.
