Hallo…
I just got a new 2025 Kia Sportage and activated the Kia Access app. There’s an OTA software update showing in the car’s settings, but I can’t figure out how to start it. I read it’s supposed to auto-download while driving, but it’s been over a week and nothing’s happening.
Is there a way to force the update to kick in, or am I doing something wrong? Any tips would be awesome!
Your help on this will be welcome
The 2025 Sportage is one of the majority of contemporary Kia cars that can receive software updates over-the-air (OTA). This implies that you can download and install upgrades straight from the infotainment system of your car, negating the need to go to a dealership.
Park where there is a robust Wi-Fi signal. Get your car started . Hold off till the infotainment system starts up.
Updates on a regular basis can fix security flaws, provide new features, and enhance performance.
It’s possible that the features or instructions for software updates on your particular model are a little different.
For help if you are having trouble updating over-the-air, get in touch with your local Kia store. They might be able to update it for you.
