How to drain coolant from radiator

Will be doing this at the 60,000-mile mark.

Does anyone have any video and or literature on how to do this for the 2014-2015 Sorento 4 cyl?

Thanks

To drain coolant from the radiator:

  1. Locate the Drain Plug: Find it at the bottom of the radiator.
  2. Place a Pan: Put a pan under the plug to catch the coolant.
  3. Loosen the Plug: Carefully open the drain plug to let the coolant flow out.
  4. Tighten the Plug: Close the plug once the coolant has drained.

When the car is cold, open the radiator cap and the drain valve.

Let everything run out, then empty the reservoir by hand.

After that, close the drain valve.

Add pure water through a funnel that is attached to the radiator cap until the fluid level is the same as the top of the radiator.

Open the hood and remove the radiator cap. Then, find and unscrew the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator. If there’s no plug, you’ll need to disconnect the bottom radiator hose. Let the coolant drain into a container. Once it’s empty, either tighten the drain plug or reconnect the hose.
