How many miles has your Kia Forte done?

I bought my 2014 1.8L new. It’s got 186,000 miles and is still running strong. Had to replace the steering assist motor coupler, but other than that, it’s just regular maintenance.

That’s awesome. I just sold my Tacoma at 190,000 miles and got this car. I’ll be really happy if mine goes that far.

I’ve mentioned this elsewhere, but CVTs get a bad reputation because people don’t service them right. I had a Nissan Jatco CVT, and it’s now at 130,000 miles without any issues. Regular servicing is key. Same goes for the Forte GT Line.

@Gerald
Absolutely, servicing is everything. When I bought it, CarMax did a transmission flush, and it had 16,000 miles. I plan to service the CVT around 35-40k miles. Would you agree? I’ve got a 75k-mile warranty.

My 2021 has 30,000 miles. The only issue I’ve had was with the screen shorting out once in a while. I take it to Kia every six months for servicing, and so far, no major problems.

I bought my 2023 GT-Line in May with 21,000 miles. It now has 31,000 miles. I’m driving less now since changing jobs, but no issues. I change the oil every 5,000 miles.

That’s great. I plan on doing every 5,000 miles too, instead of the recommended 7,500.
