How many miles has your Kia Forte done?

I bought a 2021 Forte GT-LINE a couple of months ago with low mileage. I’m really enjoying the car so far, but I’m curious about how many miles other Forte owners have put on theirs. The research shows it’s a reliable car, but I’ve heard mixed things about the CVT transmission.

I met an Uber driver with a 22 model that had 140,000 miles. He said he does his own oil changes and brakes with no issues.

That’s pretty impressive. I’d be happy if mine lasts that long.

I have a 2021 GT-Line, bought it in January with 22,000 miles. It’s now close to 40,000 miles and I haven’t had any engine problems.

Sounds promising. No major issues yet, that’s great. Keep it in good shape .

I was actually told to change it every 5k miles. Kia’s tend to burn oil faster, even the newer models. It’s important to stay on top of it.

My 2023 Forte has 11,000 miles. No problems yet.

My 2019 Forte has 61,000 miles. The only problem was an air conditioning gas leak, which was fixed under warranty.

That’s awesome! Good to know that warranty covered it. Here’s to many more miles!

I have a 2024 Kia Forte LXS with 2,120 miles. So far, no issues with the engine or CVT.

I love the 2024 design! Hope it stays smooth for you.

My 2020 Forte has 30,000 miles with no issues.

I have a 2021 GT-Line. Bought it with 28,000 miles, now it’s up to 32,000. I absolutely love this car.

Such an underrated car. Great choice, and here’s hoping it lasts a long time!

I have a 2022 with 66,000 miles.

My 2023 Forte has almost 12,000 miles and no issues so far.

I have two cars with CVTs, and I had to replace both. $3,000 each!

Did you service the CVTs regularly? Or did you fall for the idea that ‘you never need to service this transmission’?

@Gerald
I bought them without knowing much about CVTs. Both broke down. I won’t get another one if I can help it.

@Gerald
I hear you. The ‘no need to service’ claim is a total myth. Glad I did my research.
