I’ve got the 1.6L automatic base model and was curious how many miles people are getting out of these cars. Anyone else got one still going strong?
I’m at a bit over 375,000 miles with my 2015 1.6L.

Wow… that’s crazy. Gina, you’re really pushing it!
It seems like these engines either blow around 90k miles or they last forever.

Funny you say that. The original owner sold mine right at 88k. I’ve put another 20k on it without any problems.
Wait… I was actually asking about wiper blades. How long do wiper blades usually last?
I’ve got 107,000 miles on mine right now.
I’ve got the 2.0L version with 136k miles. Had to change out all the ignition coils and spark plugs twice in the past three years, but we’re still hanging in there.
Mine’s a 2013, sitting at 145,000 miles.
I have a 2011, and it’s at 185,000 miles now.
I’ve got a 2015 with 78,000 miles on it. I’m the second owner—I bought it in 2018 when it had 50k. Drove it daily until COVID hit, now I only take it out a couple times a month. In the past year, I barely drove 3,000 miles, including a trip from Atlanta to Orlando and back. This car has been a beast. It always starts right up, no matter how long it sits, and the A/C is still ice cold (it lived in Texas from 2015 to 2022). Never had any engine trouble.
Mine’s a 2015 with about 78,000 miles, but it just started guzzling oil. Turns out the 100k mile warranty only covers the original owner. Not cool, Kia.

If that’s right, I’ve already doubled that mileage on mine. My son’s Elantra, which his mom and I bought brand new, is still going with over 300k miles on the original engine and transmission.
