Help Needed: Brand New Kia Forte Showing Oil Change/Engine Malfunction Warning

Hey People…

I just got a brand new Kia Forte two days ago, and today it’s already showing oil change and engine malfunction warnings. I’m taking it to the dealer first thing tomorrow, but I’m super bummed out and worried. Has anyone else had this happen with a new car? I thought everything would be smooth with a new ride, and now I’m second-guessing my choice.

Any advice or similar stories would be really helpful!

Regards…

It might be preferable to get in touch with your local Kia dealership or service center, :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: because your car is spanking new. They can carry out a diagnostic test to pinpoint the precise problem and confirm that it is covered by warranty.

:face_with_raised_eyebrow: If the oil level is too low for a safe engine to run, the oil change warning light may be illuminated.

One sensor that aids in controlling  the air-fuel mixture is the Defective Mass Air Flow Sensor. Its malfunction could result in the engine operating inefficiently

Engine misfires and the activation  of the warning light may result from malfunctioning spark

Loose Gas Cap: Fuel vapors might  escape from a loose gas cap and set off the check engine light
