Here is the simplest route you can go:
- Find a compatible charging station and park your Kia EV6 close to it.
- Unlock and open the charging port.
- Connect the charging cable securely.
- Activate the charging process and monitor the charging progress.
- Disconnect the cable when done.
- Close the charging port.
Drive away with a fully charged EV6
First, locate the charging port, usually on the rear left side. You’ll see two connectors: Type 2 for home or public AC charging, and CCS for rapid DC charging. For home charging, plug in the Type 2 cable and you’re set.
For public charging, choose the right connector based on the station. The EV6’s smart system will handle the rest, showing charging status and estimated time.
For the quickest top-up, use a DC fast charger, but remember, it’s best for occasional use.
