Good afternoon.
I’m in the process of buying a winter setup for my 2024 Kia Sportage NQ5E, and I need some advice regarding rim offsets.
The original rims on my Sportage are 18’’ with an ET of 51 and a width of 7.5J. I have an opportunity to purchase a new set of rims that are also 18’’ and 7.5J, but with an ET of 45.
I’m concerned about the difference in offset. Is an ET of 45 a significant change from the original ET 51? Will these new rims fit my Sportage without causing any issues?
Regards awaiting response…
Good evening If you’re uncertain about the ideal ET/offset for your situation, it’s best to seek advice from a professional mechanic or tire shop.

The tire profile can impact the overall fit. Additionally, any modifications to your suspension may affect how well the wheels fit.
enthusiasts, hallo. a positive offset moves the wheel outward from the vehicle, whereas a negative offset pushes it closer to the suspension components.
indeed this is adorable, ET: Ranges from 38 to 45.
Typically, a positive offset is recommended for the Sportage NQ5E.
