Check engine light on my Kia… What now?

I got a used 2011 Kia Soul and it runs great. I’ve already changed the spark plugs, ignition coil, and wires. But now I’m getting this P0455 code. I replaced the gas cap, fuel sensor, solenoid valve, and the tube for it… Still getting the code. Lucky for me, no emissions testing in my state, but I’d still like to fix it. What else should I check?

Did you check all the hoses for the evaporative system? Could be a loose connection or a crack. Also, a cracked fuel filler neck can cause that too.

I’ll take a look at that, thanks!

Might be the purge valve. That’s a common cause for this code. :red_car:

Ah man… that’s frustrating. Not sure what else to check off the top of my head.

@Calvine
Yeah, it’s annoying. I’ll keep troubleshooting!
