Hey folks! Loving my new EV9, but I’m curious—does anyone know if there’s an adapter that would let me charge it at a Tesla Supercharger? Would be super convenient if I could.
As of now, Tesla’s Superchargers use a unique connector, but there are adapters available for some EVs to use Tesla’s Level 2 chargers. The Supercharger compatibility is limited for non-Tesla cars, though.
@Lucypiper
Got it, thanks for the info! Was hoping there might be something for the Superchargers specifically.
There’s been talk about Tesla expanding access to more non-Tesla vehicles, but right now, adapters for Superchargers are limited. Level 2 adapters are your best bet for now.

Thanks! I’ll look into Level 2 options for now. Maybe they’ll open up the Superchargers more widely soon.
Keep an eye out—some third-party companies are working on Supercharger-compatible adapters, but make sure they’re verified for safety!

Will do! I definitely don’t want to mess with untested adapters on a new car.
Tesla has started opening up some of their chargers to other brands in select locations. Could be worth checking out their app for compatible sites.

I’ll check that out, thanks for the tip!
Let us know if you find an adapter that works well! This info would be super helpful for other EV9 owners.

For sure! I’ll update if I find anything solid.
