Black Cherry or just black?

Hi everyone,

I know this might sound like a silly question, but I am planning to buy a 2017 SX soon and have not seen the Black Cherry color in person yet. Is there really a deep cherry tint to it, or is it basically just black? I have seen pictures that suggest both

While pictures can be deceiving, most people agree that Black Cherry on the 2017 SX has a definite cherry undertone, especially in certain lighting.

It’s a rich, deep color. If you can, try to find a used SX in that color to see it in person.

Hi! The Black Cherry color for the 2017 SX is a deep, rich hue that combines black with a cherry undertone. In different lighting conditions, it can appear more black or show off its cherry tint. If you’ve only seen pictures, they might not fully capture the depth and subtlety of the color. If possible, visiting a dealership or finding a car with that color in person could give you a better idea of how it looks in real life. It’s always a good idea to see the color up close to make sure it’s exactly what you’re hoping for!

Black Cherry is typically characterized as a deep, rich red with subtle black undertones. It’s not pure black but rather a darker shade of red.

To get a better sense of the color, visiting a Hyundai dealership is your best bet. Seeing it in person will give you a clearer idea of whether it meets your preferences.

Alternatively, you can explore online forums or social media groups dedicated to Hyundai enthusiasts. Members often share photos of their Black Cherry SX models, which can provide you with a more accurate visual representation of the color.
