Attempted Theft of 2022 Kia Soul LX – Seeking Repair Cost Estimates

I had to file my first police report today after an attempted theft of my 2022 Kia Soul LX. Now, I’m waiting to hear back from my insurance, who have already warned me that coverage might be limited and that processing will take longer than usual because it’s the weekend. I’m trying to stay calm, but I’m anxious about what comes next.

Does anyone have an idea of how much the repairs might cost? I’ve attached some pictures for reference. Any insight would be really helpful right now.

The expense is probably not as bad as the dread of it occurring again. :woman_facepalming: :woman_facepalming:

The 2020 Soul EX includes an immobiliser, and I’m sure higher trim levels of other models do as well. It all depends on the trim level. These thieves are abhorrent. I would think it would be simpler to identify these idiots with all the user data TikTok collects.
