I just got a pre-owned 2023 S model with captain’s chairs in the second row, and I’m having trouble with the seatbelt buckle for my 7-year-old’s car seat. The buckle is really hard to reach, and it doesn’t seem to pull out any further. Has anyone found a way to make the buckles easier to reach or keep them from slipping down into the seat?
Try looking up a seat belt buckle holder (not an extender). I had the same issue and got these. They worked well, even when the kids moved up to boosters and could buckle themselves.
Yeah, it’s tough from the door side. Sometimes I have to get someone to click it in from the inside while I hold the other side in place.

Thanks for sharing the link. I’ve read that those aren’t always considered safe, so I’m still hesitant about using them.
