Any thoughts on Kia’s electric cars lineup...?

I’ve been reading up on Kia’s electric cars, like the EV6, Niro EV, and Soul EV. Seems like they’re doing a pretty good job with range and tech features. The EV6, for example, goes up to 310 miles on a full charge, which is pretty solid. Anyone here own one or have opinions on them? I’m curious about what real owners think. :thinking:

Yeah, I actually test-drove the EV6. That acceleration is crazy, especially in the GT model. 0-60 in like 3.4 seconds, right?

Totally! The GT is a beast, but honestly, the standard model is good enough for most people. The range is what really impresses me.

@Lily
True, I mean, who really needs that much speed in a daily driver? But it’s nice to know it’s there. :sweat_smile:

I have the Niro EV and it’s perfect for city driving. The 239-mile range is just right for my needs.

Nice! How’s the charging? I heard it takes around 45 minutes for 10-80% with fast charging.

@Brown
Yeah, that’s accurate. Not too bad for a quick coffee break, tbh.

Anyone tried the Soul EV? Love the design but wondering if it’s practical for longer trips.

I’ve driven it! The range is 243 miles, so it’s not bad for road trips, but you gotta plan your charging stops.

@Princeton
Good to know! I always worry about getting stranded. :sweat_smile: How’s the tech inside?

@Princeton
Pretty sweet. It’s got a 10.25-inch screen, wireless smartphone integration, and even Harman Kardon audio.

What’s up with Kia’s charging infrastructure? Is it easy to find stations?

Yeah, they’ve got partnerships with lots of networks. Plus, the Kia Charge app is super handy for locating chargers.

@EmmanuelBrown
Sweet, that app sounds useful! Might have to give it a try.

Kia’s future plans sound ambitious… a dozen new EVs by 2027? Can’t wait to see what’s next.

Yeah, they’re aiming for electric cars to make up 40% of sales by 2030. Pretty exciting times!

@OptimaEnthusiast
For sure! Hope they keep improving charging speeds too. :stopwatch:
