2025 Sportage Plug-In Hybrid leaking water… is this alright?

Does the leak come from the muffler or somewhere else? It doesn’t seem right to me.

Maybe take it to the dealer and let them have a look.

Nope, not normal… You should ask them to weld the holes shut next time you’re in for an oil change.

I’m guessing this is a joke, but just in case it’s not…

Mufflers have a small hole to let water drain out and avoid rust. Without it, the muffler would rot over time. That said, if you’re seeing a lot of water, it might be worth checking if the hole was blocked and just cleared up.
