I’m making the purchase today. Do you think I made a good decision or should I rethink it?
You definitely won’t regret it. I have a 2025 K5 GT1 with 6,500 miles, bought in July last year. It’s amazing. The seats are heated and cooled, the steering wheel’s heated, and it has memory settings for two people. The sound system is solid for stock, acceleration is fast, and handling is smooth. The car looks great. The mileage is decent too; I get about 33 on the freeway and 20-22 in the city. The headlights are extremely bright, I get flashed often on low beams. Fantastic car, great value for money with features similar to expensive German cars, but at a fraction of the price.
@Charlotte
I totally agree, I also have a 2025 GT1. No regrets. I get compliments from people who don’t even drive Kias.

It’s fantastic! I used to drive a 2021 Sonata N Line, same engine, but the GT1 feels even better with some small tuning and suspension updates. The GT1 offers more than the N Line too. I really like the updated look of the new N Lines though.
@Charlotte
I almost bought a 2024 N Line earlier this year because I couldn’t find the 2025 GT1. I’m glad I waited. The K5’s interior and features are worth the extra cost. Also, the local Hyundai dealerships have poor service, so the K5 was a better option for me. The 2024 N Lines look cool too, but the K5 is just something else.
@KiaRevolution
Do you think the Sonata N Line is worth considering over the K5 GT if the N Line is $3000 cheaper?

I didn’t think so. It was actually $4k less than my GT1, and I have no regrets choosing the K5. It really depends on what you value. I don’t buy cars often, so I wanted something with all the features. The N Line misses out on some of those.
I think you made a great choice, I have the 2025 GT-Line and I love it. I almost went for the GT because I wanted the performance boost. The car handles really well, and the lane assist system works perfectly for me.
@Garcia
The steering assist is really useful, especially for long drives. It makes everything much easier.
I own a 2024 GT/GT1 and love it. The display on the 2025 model is even better. You won’t regret your purchase.
Yes
I really love my 2023 GT1. The 2025 looks awesome, but I’m not a fan of the touch screen climate control buttons and I miss the boost gauge. I prefer tactile feedback, especially when driving. I also love tracking my oil temp and boost psi, which I can easily do in my 2023. Despite these small issues, you’ll definitely enjoy your new car. If you’ve driven the older 1.6t models, you’ll notice the huge difference with the 2.5t engine and GT drivetrain.
Thanks everyone .
What’s your monthly payment like? I have a 2024 GT with the GT1 package and pay $600/month.

I’m paying cash, thankfully.

I got a bad interest rate, but I’ve already paid off about two-thirds of it in a year. I’ll probably just pay off the rest soon.

I paid $32k for my 2024 GT GT1 in December 2023.

How did you manage to get it for that price? That’s the cost of a GT-Line .
@AnthonyWilson
The sticker was $37,700, but the dealer gave me a $2700 discount and I had $3000 in trade-in equity. It was also the 30th of December, so they were trying to close sales before year-end.
