2022 Honda Odyssey lease ending soon, thinking of switching to Carnival Hybrid SX Prestige… any advice?

I’ve been leasing Odysseys for the past 10 years, one after the other, but I’m ready for a change. I’m especially interested in a hybrid, which Honda doesn’t offer, so I’m seriously looking into the Carnival Hybrid SX Prestige. I’ve never driven a Kia before, so I’d love to hear what to expect when I go for a test drive. What should I be checking out specifically?

Another thing, my two kids are hooked on the DVD player in the Odyssey, but I’ve heard no minivans have those anymore. Would I need to get a portable one to connect via HDMI or switch to streaming services for road trips? Is that the case?

I’m not planning on keeping the car long-term; just looking for another lease for around 3 years, so leasing options are what I’m interested in. Any advice or tips would be really helpful. I’m based in Virginia, USA.

If you can, try renting the model you’re interested in for a week. It’ll give you a good feel for it in your daily routine.

Thanks! I’ll look into that, though I’m not sure if the hybrid version will be available for rent yet since it’s pretty new. But I’ll definitely check.
