I’ve got a 2004 Kia Sedona that’s stalling and dying at stop signs and lights. We recently replaced the fuel pump, but the problem persists. I was looking to check the fuel filter, but I’m not sure where it’s located. Does anyone know? Also, could it be the fuel injectors or a sensor? There’s no check engine light on right now. We’re getting a dyno test tomorrow to see if it provides more answers.
The fuel filter on the 2004 Sedona is part of the fuel pump assembly, so if you replaced the pump, you’ve already replaced the filter too.

Yep, I had the same issue. If the filter is new, you might want to check the injectors next.
Could also be a sensor issue, like the MAF sensor or throttle position sensor. Sometimes these don’t trigger a check engine light right away.
If you’re doing a dyno test, they should be able to pinpoint if it’s a fuel delivery issue or something else. Let us know what codes come up, if any.
Double-check the connections on the fuel pump. A loose wire or bad connection could still cause stalling even with a new pump.
How’s the idle air control valve? A bad IACV could cause stalling at lights and stops. It’s worth looking into.
