Kind of odd how in today’s world, one can post a potato quality image with a poorly cropped white boarder. A quick reverse image search shows it to be a stock photo.
Great looking vehicle. Interior is awesome also. Still worried about engine reliability. Heard so many stories. I want one but will wait until remodel comes out and hybrid. The 2025 should drop big time. Right now Kia not moving on prices.
@RioRider
Keep in mind that it is still the top rated family midsize, three-row SUV in the country and has been since it came out. The stories you’re reading on social media have a negative bias. You can find negative things about Toyota and Honda too. Also, when the hybrid version comes out next year, prices will only be higher, so consider getting a discount on a 25 model now or even a 24 model versus what you’ll have to pay later.
@marinbeyer
Check out care care nut review of the engine, not good.

I’ve seen his YT Channel and I like him, but he is a Toyota guy at heart. The Palisade and Telluride offer value for those who don’t keep cars more than 100-150k miles. A Toyota Highlander is going to last 300k plus. The trade-off is safety and luxury features that look better on the outside and inside vs a car with a fantastic long-term reliability record. If you keep a car for 10 years and 200k miles, go Toyota. Most people don’t do that, though. Hyundai and Kia give a powertrain warranty of 10 years or 100k, so the engine shouldn’t be a big concern for many car buyers.
@RioRider
No engine issues with the v6

Yes, until you get to 100k miles.
Nice ride and I’ve noticed being on this forum everyone seems to buy the high-ass trim levels for the Telluride, which kinda surprises me.

The base trims are definitely good but all of the really sweet tech and amenities are on the high trims (no surprise there).
@CHRISTINE
I got the EX which has the cooled seats which I always associate with higher trims but then it doesn’t have driver seat memory position, which is fine but they offer SOOOO many trims with tiny differences. Wise advertising
@gertrudshultz
Also have the EX and am very happy with it

If I’m keeping a car for 10-15 years, why wouldn’t I splurge for the SX Prestige? What’s 5,000 more over that span
@GriffinOtiz
I get it. I’m just thinking differently now and I hate paying the lender’s money at these rates. Selling $40k borrowed is over $1000 a year in interest. A 4-year loan at 5.5% for $38k is 4.5k in interest. I just hate the rates and the interest paid right now. My biggest gripe.

The high trims allow you to get all the creature comforts normally associated with luxury brands at a much cheaper price point.
