Thinking of Trying Michelin C2s for My Next Set of Tires?

Great tires. We just put CC2s on our Honda Odyssey and love them. They’re quiet and handle great, even in the snow. When the Telluride needs new tires, we’re getting them for that too.

I put these on my Telluride last spring and have been really happy with them. They look great and perform well.

Yea, these tires are amazing. Had them on my last car. Never felt so confident in the rain. Sadly, I got rid of the car before the snow came.

lol, same here. Traded my K5 for a murdered out Telluride X-Line.

Great tires—you’re gonna love them.

I’ve got the Michelin Cross Climate 2s and Goodyear Weather Ready 2s. Love both. I’ll just grab whichever one is the best deal next time.

How much did you pay?

NTB had them for about $1300 OTD. Tried going through Costco, but they were sold out. The online ordering process takes forever, so NTB had them next day and had a wide open appointment schedule.

$1300 OTD

Wow, that’s pricey .

Discount Tire did ours for about $1,250 OTD during their fall sale. It wasn’t much of a saving though, only $80 off.

Nice .

Amazing tires. Put them on my wife’s Telluride two years ago. Now I’m just waiting for my DWS06s to wear out so I can get a set.

I was thinking of getting these for my Telluride, but my wife’s Forester saw about a 10-15% drop in fuel economy with the CC2s. Has anyone noticed MPG changes in the Telluride?

We put them on around Labor Day. After 15 tanks, we’re averaging 22.01 mpg. With the stock tires, the previous 55 tanks averaged 22.84 mpg.

I’ve noticed something similar. I put them on at about 47k miles after replacing the stock tires. My mpg has been lower since. I thought it was just because the car’s getting older, but maybe it’s the tires.

I like these tires. I’ve got them on our Outback. Still using the stock tires on my Telluride SX X-Pro. I’ll research better tires for it when the time comes. I’ve heard Falken Wildpeak, BFGoodrich Trail Terrain, and Yokohama Geolandar are good options for the X-Pro.

I keep seeing people pick these over other Michelin tires but I haven’t figured out why. We put on the Michelin Defender 2s, and so far we’ve put about 60-65k miles on them and they’re still good. Great traction and handled a sudden stop in the rain well. I was thinking of using the CC2s next for our Telluride or Passat TDI.

@OptimaOwner
The CC2s are severe snow-rated, while the Defender 2s aren’t. The Cross Climates handle all-weather conditions better. We live on the east coast and ski a lot, so we needed something that would work for all conditions.

@VALENNA
Gotcha, I probably don’t need that extra snow performance. We’re in Arkansas and rarely get more than a couple of inches.

I just put these on my 2022 SX Prestige. I got 45k miles on the OEM tires. The CC2s are much better in snow. I’m hoping they go for 50k miles.
