Telluride or Pilot or Explorer or Acadia… which one is the best choice for the long haul?

I’d go for the Explorer or maybe the Pilot. Had an Explorer for 2 years, and it was great. The Telluride has been a nonstop headache for the first 6 months.

My only issue with the Explorer is that they don’t offer 100% leather seats. That’s it so far. Haven’t had a Ford in 13 years and never owned a Ford SUV. It felt weird being in the front seat of an Explorer… past experiences usually had me in the back seat in cuffs.

I love my 2024 Telluride for the tech, luxury, and comfort at a good price. I grew up with terrible American cars, so I just can’t buy one. I tried the Pathfinder, but its tech feels outdated compared to the Telluride.

I’ve got 3500 miles on my year 1 Telluride and now I have to ship it back to the USA to change the engine. That’s frustrating. I won’t buy a Kia again.

Pilot for the long term. Explorer for driving feel (RWD biased, especially the ST). Acadia, not at all. Telluride for looks, but I’d dump it at the end of the warranty.

We got a 2022 Telluride. Nice car, but the dealership was awful. Just…
