Love the colour you picked, it really stands out.
How did you manage to pick the same car as me? I swear it feels like you stole mine while I was driving it.
Congrats, I just got the same combo yesterday in green and black SXPXL. My family said no way to another grey car. I really like how it looks greyish-green when it’s cloudy. The orange running lights and dark brown faux wood trim inside go great with the green.
What accessories did you get? I picked mine for the factory/port-installed hitch. The all-weather mats and cargo tray that came with it might save me from needing WeatherTech this time. Planning to grab wheel locks and mud guards soon.
Looks similar to mine. Did you choose the Terra Cotta interior?

I went with the black interior instead. It feels more timeless.

We went with the sage green interior, and it looks amazing. We didn’t want an interior that looked like a basketball.
Looks beautiful. You should tint the front windows next.

Tinted windows do make the car look better, but in New Jersey, the laws are really strict about it. You’d probably get a ticket pretty quickly after getting it done. I’m in Florida, where it’s more relaxed, and I agree that it looks incomplete without the front windows matching the rear.
@Tracy
That’s true depending on where you live. Years ago, I’d get stopped all the time for tints, but now I don’t have any issues, even in areas where they’re strict. If you’re not driving like a maniac, they usually let it slide. Tinting the windows is a must for a Telluride, but it’s definitely a ‘your mileage may vary’ situation.
@NANCY
You’re right, it depends a lot on where you are. I grew up in northern New Jersey, and I know a lot of officers who are retiring now. Most of them don’t like tints much. Living in Florida for the past 25 years has spoiled me. Here, car dealers even add tints and charge extra for it, even if it’s over the legal 35% limit for front windows. I usually go for 25-30%, which is slightly illegal, but as long as you’re driving normally, no one cares. I also don’t miss having to deal with front license plates, which are still required in the Northeast, Texas, and California. The car looks amazing when the front window tints match the rear privacy glass. I also ceramic-tinted my entire car to keep it cooler during the hot summers here.
@Tracy
That’s the thing—if you’re in southern New Jersey like I am, it’s usually not an issue. Northern NJ might be different, but down here, unless you’re being reckless, no one really stops you for it. I don’t mind the front plates much, though. I think the empty frame looks weird, so I just use it. Florida sounds great for stuff like ceramic tints; it’s a must down south. I’m really happy with how mine turned out.
