Should I go with what the dealer's saying for my 2021 Seltos with 33k miles?

Checked the manual—it says 60k for the transmission fluid. I’ll probably push it to 40-45k since money’s a little tight at the moment.

Sounds like a good balance. Also gives you time to find a decent shop that’ll do it right and cheaper.

Cabin air filters are about $25 at auto parts stores, but you can find them for closer to $12 online. Takes five minutes to change—no need to open the hood. Only annoying part is if you’ve got mice sneaking in; if it smells funky, they may have left a nest.

Engine air filter is another $25 (cheaper online too). You do have to pop the hood, but it’s still an easy job with just a couple clips.

If the dealer shows you a filter and claims it’s yours, make sure it actually is! Some will pull a dirty one from a drawer to push a sale.

Kia recommends waiting 10 years or 120,000 miles for coolant changes. You’re nowhere close, so this dealership’s probably just after your money.

As for transmission fluid, Kia says it’s ‘lifetime.’ Changing it every 60k is a good call, but if you’re way past that, sometimes it’s better not to change it.

Do not pay for the cabin air filter. Grab one yourself and save a bunch. I don’t usually do this stuff myself, but this one is seriously a rip-off.
