I found a great deal on a 2020 Kia Soul and I’m really excited about it, but I have a few concerns and could use some advice.
First concern: I’ve heard rumors about theft issues with this model. Is it true that you can start the car just by placing a quarter on the ignition? How easy is it to break into? I’m planning to live in a big city, so theft is a big worry for me.
Second concern: I’ve also heard about an engine recall for the 2020 model. Has anyone experienced engine problems or other issues with their 2020 Soul? The recall makes me a bit anxious.

You should dig into 2020 engine. I dont know if that had issues.
Theft… get a club, double hook, in a bright color. If possible store in a garage. These are not being stolen becuae they are high value. You want to discourage them from Trying.
I suspect there are a lot of cars that are easy to steal… what happened with the kias was ticktock and moron kids
If you get it, make sure it has all dealer updates. Some folks will suggest push to start kits. Those are fine… however the thieves are morons, so i would still get the club so it is obvious. Otherwise you will get boken windows.
My and my sons kias were broken into even though that are not listed as vulnerable. Neither car was stolen… just sgeering column damage. My wife caught the little fuckers and they ran off… after doing 800 bucks damage. Sons was about 1200 bucks
