Looking for input from kia sportage hybrid owners … any regrets?

i’ve got a 2023 ex hybrid with 27k miles over the last 2 years, and i’m really happy with it. the only other car i’d consider is the hyundai tucson hybrid, but i still prefer the sportage since it comes with a spare tire.

mpg is a bit lower than advertised, but tracking at the pump shows i’m averaging about 37.3 mpg over the 27k miles, so no complaints!

selling a hybrid sxp today to a happy buyer!

picked up an sx phev a few weeks ago. wish kia hadn’t cut corners on auto-folding mirrors. lack of wireless android auto and carplay is also a bit annoying, and i miss the adaptive headlights from my old 2019 tiguan.

@susanbauer
why didn’t you stick with the tiguan? i’m looking at the sportage and corolla cross but might keep my 2018 tiguan in the mix.

got the sx-prestige about a month and a half ago and i’ve got no complaints. glad i went with it since i live in a busy area and need the extra cameras for my tight garage (though i’ve already scratched it a bit, but that’s on me!).

bought my 2025 ex hybrid in october and couldn’t be happier. after 2 years with a ford escape hybrid, i wanted something that felt a bit sturdier inside, and the sportage ex trim nails it. the mpg is a little lower than the ford, but it’s worth it for the extra comfort and features. passengers always comment on the space and smooth ride. no regrets so far – just waiting to see how it handles winter weather.
