I bought a 2022 Telluride yesterday, and it’s great except the previous owner left the car in valet mode and entered the wrong code 5 times. The dealership told me they couldn’t fix it, but they called Kia Connect. I’ve also contacted Kia Connect today and opened a ticket. However, their initial troubleshooting didn’t fix the problem. Any advice on what to do next while waiting for the tech team to get back to me?

I don’t think there’s much you can do at the moment. Kia Connect should be able to unlock it, so keep following up with them.
Thanks for the help. I spoke to another agent, and they said I’m just waiting for a tier 2 tech to call back. It could be anywhere from a couple of days to a week.
I don’t yet have it. The screen is locked in valet mode, so I can’t access the setup panel to enter a code from the app.
Ah, okay. I’m pretty sure it’s just putting your VIN into the app. When I bought my K4, I just entered the VIN. Also, if you just bought it, the dealer should have given you a QR code to set it up unless they missed that.

Yeah, the previous owner put the valet mode passcode in wrong, which locks it out for everyone. We’ve tried everything suggested here today. I can only access the lock screen in the picture, but I’m grateful for all the support from everyone here. Glad I got a car with such a helpful community.
