Kia connect packages extended… mistake or on purpose?

My Kia connect ultimate package on my 2024 Telluride EX was about to expire in a few days since they only gave us one year for the 2024 models. Then, I got an email today from Kia saying my package now expires on 30th December 2028. This would be five years since I bought the car on 30th December 2023. Could this be a mistake, or did they extend all packages? Maybe they just can’t let go of all my data. To be honest, that’s probably the real reason.

When I logged into my account, it says my lite package is complimentary for 5 years starting today. Anyone else seeing this?

I got excited and checked, but mine still shows it expires in April 2025, which is when the complimentary services were supposed to end.

My app also still shows the old expiration date. I’m waiting to see if it updates to match the email.

Same here. Mine ended a few months ago, so I started paying monthly just for winter. I wonder if it’ll change if I cancel the subscription.

Is anyone having issues with the app not turning on the heated seats or steering wheel?

There’s a setting where you can lock the heated seats and steering wheel to turn on automatically when you start the car.

I just checked my app, and now it says my package expires in January 2027. I have a 2022 model, so if this wasn’t a mistake, I’m thrilled about the 5-year extension.

Mine says 2027 too, but it also mentions the lite package. Does your package include the 360 camera and remote start?

Do you have to be paying for the full package to see this?

My 2023 still says it expires next October, and I already paid $200 for it. Not cool.

I got an email saying mine expires in 2029, 5 years from the purchase date.

Mine still shows the old expiration date of April 2025. Hoping it updates soon.

My lite package shows ‘—’ for the expiration date. Glad I didn’t pay for it a few months ago.

I started the ultimate package in March after the complimentary one ended. It still shows it expires next March. Maybe it’s only for the lite package?

Free tracking software! What could possibly go wrong?

Mine says it expires on 20th February 2025 for our 2024 model purchased in February. I’ll call Kia or my dealer before it expires and reference this thread.

Did you lease or finance? I think it might depend on that. Mine is leased, and it shows it expires in a year or 8th November 2025.

My SX-P XLine from last year still only has the lite package. I’d be happy to pay for the ultimate if they offered a discount, but I haven’t seen one.

Thanks for sharing. I just bought a 2024 SX Prestige X Line for my wife as a Christmas gift. One difference between the 2024 and 2025 models is the ultimate package being only one year on the 2025s instead of three years. I’ve been wondering what to do after the first year, so this extension is great news. Hyundai offers full Blue Link for life on Palisades, which is a nice perk. Let us know if the extension holds up for everyone.
