Nice one! I’ve had my 2013 Kia Optima for over 10 years, and it’s at 117k miles now. Still running great. Just keep up with oil changes and take care of it.

Good luck with it. I bought one 5 months ago and used it for my regular job and the spark app… engine blew up with no warranty since I’m the second owner. Loved the car but that was rough.

Also, there’s been a recent recall on airbags and the locking mechanism… definitely look into that for safety.

No push-button start, which was a bit of a letdown, but it’s a nice ride. I’m into cars, so I did my homework before buying. Maintenance makes a big difference.

If it doesn’t have the push start, better get a steering wheel lock. Not sure if it’s got the immobilizer.

Pretty sure it doesn’t have the immobilizer. Definitely go for a steering wheel lock and maybe an anti-theft device that stops the engine from starting. The Kia boyz thing has calmed down a bit, but it’s still worth being careful. Some folks might still mess with it, especially if they’re drunk or looking for trouble.

Yeah, car theft is always a risk. I live close to the city, and even though I’ve got the immobilizer, I still use a club. I’d rather not deal with someone messing with my car for no reason.
I’m on my second engine with mine. It’s at the dealership right now because of a catalytic converter warranty claim. The car looks amazing, but it’s given me a few headaches.
