My wife and I just picked up our brand new 2025 Carnival LXS! Really excited but wondering if anyone has tips or things to watch out for with this model.
Welcome to the family Carnibro
Looks great. You should consider blacking out that silver panel behind the sliding doors – it would really add to the look.
That color looks amazing! Congrats
Nice! We’re picking up our red EXP on Tuesday.
Welcome CarniBro
Nice choice, Carni Bro! That color is slick .
Looks awesome Carnibro .
I don’t understand why they don’t offer red on the higher trims. Looks great though

Yeah, more color options would be nice too.

So they don’t have red in the higher trims? Guess it’s mostly white, black, and silver?
@KiaZilla
Pretty much .

I can’t stand how almost every car is just one of the same few colors now
One of us! Welcome aboard .
Welcome to the club! Now you need to get some tint on those windows
That red looks great! Not a common color to see.
I got the same color! Feels great to see someone else with it!
This is a sweet ride! I never thought I’d say that, but after sitting in a K4, I’m impressed. I’d drive a Kia, but not with a CVT. I can’t trust that, not after my coworker’s 2021 Forte.

Good news: the 2025 Carnival has an 8-speed automatic, not a CVT. I think the hybrid might use a 6-speed, but definitely no CVT.
@KiaZilla
I believe the hybrid uses a 6-speed DCT. That’s great to hear. I’m glad to know the Hyundai Elantra Hybrid doesn’t have a CVT either. Might go for one of those and enjoy 55 mpg.
