Looking at a car deal and wondering if it’s actually worth it. Thoughts?
I helped a customer get about 4000 off sticker price recently. What state are you in?

Georgia. They won’t budge at all. Said they’re already selling at invoice and won’t lower it further.
@Kimberly
Try Hutchinson Kia instead.

I did, and they didn’t cut me any breaks either. You should’ve helped me out, what’s up with that?
I got mine for $54.2k including $800 in accessories, out the door. Two dealers in Maryland wouldn’t go any lower. Felt like a solid deal to me.

I offered 54 and they didn’t even counter. Just straight-up said no. Kinda surprising.
I’d try offering $50K before taxes. That’s about $900 less than what you’re at now.

I think that’s their invoice price, but I’ll still ask .
That seems too high. I was looking at the Odyssey, Sienna, and Kia Carnival before going with the Sienna. I got an offer for the same Carnival at $50K out the door. This price is a lot higher.

Which state?
@Kimberly
Texas. Best to aim for month-end if you want better deals.

I’ve been trying. It’s the end of the month, but no one wants to negotiate. They just say no, no counteroffers or anything.
Is it a hybrid?

Nope, gas.
If it’s a hybrid, that’s not a bad price. If not, you should be able to get more off. I’m in western PA and hybrid SXPs are going for $52K before negotiating.

It’s not a hybrid, just gas.

Was that price MSRP or out the door?
@Kimberly
$52K MSRP before negotiating. If you check my posts, I got a hybrid SX for $49K ($52.6K out the door). Just depends if you want the hybrid or not. Your price seems okay.
You’re getting a few thousand off MSRP with no random add-ons, so yeah, seems like a solid deal. Bigger question is whether the gas Prestige is worth it.
