This is your sign to get front and back dash cams with parking mode. It’s worth the couple hundred bucks and few hours for installation.

Most dash cams with parking mode also monitor the voltage. If the battery gets below a certain level, the cam will disable to avoid draining it.

True. I dunno, I just don’t drive that much so my alternator wouldn’t charge my battery enough to keep up with camera drain. I guess it would make sense for someone who drives longer distances regularly.

You might be able to “buff” it out, as they say. If you can’t do it yourself or are afraid to, a detailer can do it for you.

There’s nothing to buff out. The metal has been creased and pushed in.

Honestly, at least you still have your car. Someone stole my Kia 3 weeks ago, and it had anti-theft.

You should be able to find an official paint pen online somewhere. Where you just type in your VIN and they send you one.
