I got a 2021 Forte GT-LINE a few months ago with low miles. I’m loving it, but I’m curious how many miles others have put on theirs. I’ve seen that it’s a reliable car, but I’ve heard mixed reviews about the CVT transmission.
I met an Uber driver who had a 2022 model with 140,000 miles. He said he does his own oil changes and brakes, and has had no issues.

That’s impressive. I’d be happy if mine lasts that long.
I have a 2021 GT-Line, bought it in January with 22,000 miles. It’s now nearing 40,000 miles, and no engine problems so far.

Sounds promising. No major issues yet, that’s great. Hope it stays in good shape!
I have a 2024 Kia Forte with just 4,980 miles.
My 2023 Forte has 11,000 miles on it. No problems so far.
I have a 2019 Forte with 61,000 miles. The only issue was an air conditioning gas leak, which was covered by the warranty.

That’s great to hear. It’s good to know the warranty took care of it. Here’s to many more miles!
I have a 2024 Kia Forte LXS with 2,120 miles. So far, no issues with the engine or CVT.

I have two cars with CVTs, and I had to replace both. It cost me $3,000 each.

Did you service the CVTs regularly? Or did you think ‘you never need to service them’?

I bought them without knowing much about CVTs. Both broke down. I won’t get another one if I can help it.

I hear you. The ‘no need to service’ claim is definitely a myth. Glad I did my research before buying.
