Hallo…
I need some help. My friend’s 2014 Kia Ceed has a dead screen—no radio, no display, nothing at all. I found the fuse for the radio and will check it later.
Anything else I should check? I don’t know much about Kias, so any tips on what might be wrong would be super helpful.
Best regards…
Examine the fuse that powers the screen and radio .
Replace it with a fuse of the same amperage if it has blown.
Use a wire brush or battery terminal cleaner to clean the terminals. Securely tighten the connectors.
Find the fuse box by consulting the owner’s manual for your vehicle, then check the fuses for the screen and radio. Replace a blown fuse with one of the same amperage if necessary.
Examine the cabling connected to the radio and screen for any loose or corroded connections. Clean up any corrosion and tighten any loose connections.
If the touchscreen in your car is equipped, see if there are any software updates available that could fix the problem.
